here’s what we think…

good food is important.
first and foremost, everything here is sourced and made with love

local food is important.
we grow hydroponic lettuce, right here below the store ;) . the nearer the source of our food to us, the better it is (less time in a truck, less packaging etc means better food for you and better $ for our local economy). we regularly audit our sourcing geography, and try to stick to 40% of goods grown or produced in the state of WI (with much more from the midwest as well).

accessible food is important.
which is why we are proudly located in the heart of our historic city. there’s a bus stop directly in front of the shop, and we’re within walking distance of all of the central city and UW Oshkosh. we have and always will proudly accept EBT and SNAP benefits as everyone deserves great food

how you shop for food is important.
we’ve got small carts, nothing in bulk, no back stock (what you see is what we have). we believe that you shouldn’t ‘stock up’, but rather, should buy what you need, when you need it (it’s fresher that way, and less to waste), it’s easy to get here, we’ve got great parking, we don’t like those check-out line things with the belts and such, everybody here knows how to cook and is passionate about it (h*ck, our owner is a chef by trade) and it’s fun in here…we play rad tunes and are not afraid to dance and sing out loud (nor should you be).
